Sectional Moderators

Post by Admin on Tue Dec 01, 2009 7:41 pm

There are certain forums which you can't see and hence can't reply because you don't
have the authorization to view them.
Those members who will have 1000 posts or have donated 3$ to the donation box will be awarded a membership--> Subscribers,
If you already have 1000 Posts then you will be awarded a membership SECTIONAL MODERATOR
Though Sectional moderators are those who will have 2000 posts.
To become a Sectional moderator From Scratch you will have to pay 5$ for the particular categories in which they are most Interested.
A subscriber can pay 1$ only to be Sectional moderator.
Benefits of being a Subscriber or a Sectional Moderator -a particular category in your command, as the forum will grow there will be some featrures which will be only for members with a certain numbers of posts. So stand alone tall and keep an eye on everyone and hunt as you wish to please.

Remwmber those members who will get the subscriber status by posting 200 posts will have to send a PM to the moderators concerning their membership level and an email to the admin.

To be a Senior Member you have to post 200 posts.

Thank you

The primary role of a forum moderator should be
to promote interaction. A forum moderator should be posting new threads
and adding new content to the site. They should be helping out members
with their queries and they should be keeping threads alive by asking questions.
I am not saying that forum moderators shouldn’t be allowed to delete
or lock threads that are inappropriate – of course this should be one of
their roles. What I am saying is this should never be their primary
role
.
When you take on forum moderators you need to make it clear exactly
what you expect from them. Most moderators see themselves as forum
police officers and will only edit/delete/lock content without creating
any themselves. This is a mistake – make sure your moderators know that
their primary role is to encourage interaction, to encourage member
involvement, and to encourage a sense of community within your forum.

Now, in our forum there will be a list accounting the sectional moderators and the sections in which they work, so whenever a new member is interested in their section, they can assist them and in some cases even take their assistance.
