Favorite Genres???

So what's everybody's favorite genre to read or write, or both?

Read: Non-Fiction, Historical/Biography
Write: Fiction/Fantasy...because I can make anything up and no one can say it's wrong

Yeah, jkale, I don't think there's a real genre for that. It's more of a mood/tone, but I understand what you're saying.

I read anything , not really have a favorite genre. I like Stephen King, Sven Hassel, James Clavell . And since I read to my little girl the Harry Potter books, I find out I really like them, more than the movies.
